We shouldn’t like Maroon 5. That’s like admitting that we enjoy John Mayer’s music.
They’re both soooo commercial - yet they do know how to produce the hits.
And Maroon 5’s new album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, is jam packed with radio friendly songs.
Our favorite track off the record is the beautiful mid-tempo love song Nothing Lasts Forever, which samples Adam Levine’s collaboration with Kanye West, Heard ‘Em Say.
Or perhaps Nothing Lasts Forever came firs and Kanye sampled that.
Either way, it’s gorgeous and we’ve been playing it on repeat all day.
The song reminds us of some old school Harry Nilsson. So pretty.
It must be released as a single!
