He’s done acting, stand-up comedy, reality TV, and now Saved By The Bell’s Dustin “Screech” Diamond is adding manager to his resume.
The former teen star started a talent management company, Diamond In The Rough, specializing in has-been kid actors.
The company’s mission statement says:
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH TALENT MANAGEMENT is a full service talent management company started by Dustin Diamond and his girlfriend Jennifer Misner , specializing in FORMER CHILD STARS. The key to good management is making sure your representation understands what you need and nobody understands the rigors of a former child star better than Dustin Diamond himself.
Dustin will personally help in crafting new identities as well as placing his clients in everything from scripted and reality television shows to commercials and personal appearances. In addition to handling a roster of former child stars, DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH TALENT MANAGEMENT will also represent familiar faces from film and television’s past. In addition, DITRT will also represent the new breed of celebrity, from those who are famous for just being famous to those who got their first fifteen minutes on a reality show or by making news headlines.
Sounds like a breeding ground for losers.
